મહારાષ્ટ્રના મુખ્યમંત્રી દેવેન્દ્ર ફડણવીસે રવિવારે કહ્યું કે 107 પાકિસ્તાની નાગરિકો ગુમ થયાના અહેવાલો સંપૂર્ણપણે પાયાવિહોણા છે. તેમણે આ અહેવાલોને નકારી કાઢ્યા અને કહ્યું કે આવી ભ્રામક માહિતી ટાળવી જોઈએ.
ફડણવીસે પત્રકારોને કહ્યું – ગૃહમંત્રી તરીકે, હું સ્પષ્ટ કરું છું કે આ અહેવાલોમાં કોઈ સત્યતા નથી.
તેમણે વધુમાં જણાવ્યું હતું કે તમામ પાકિસ્તાની નાગરિકોને શોધી કાઢવામાં આવ્યા છે અને તેમને ટૂંક સમયમાં ભારતની બહાર મોકલવાની પ્રક્રિયા ચાલી રહી છે.
Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis says, “As Home Minister, I want to make it clear that the reports of 107 Pakistani citizens going missing are baseless and such misleading information should not be spread. I assure you that all the Pakistani citizens have been traced and the process of sending them out of the country is underway. Proper arrangements are being made and no Pakistani citizen will stay here. I estimate that by this evening or tomorrow morning, all of them will return to their country.”
