Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel today attended the fourth mass marriage function of Gujarat Guru Brahman Samaj in Surendranagar. He blessed and congratulated 19 wed locked couples. Mass marriage is the need of hour. A function of two families becomes a function of society through mass marriage. Not only that but such initiative releases the burden of responsibility of brides parents. Mass marriage are becoming a symbol of social responsibility.
CM further said that, social harmony has been the hallmark of our society and culture. from such occasions it is established that society is concerned for every individual. Describing such events as a commendable initiative for spreading social harmony, CM said that the government is always ready to provide necessary assistance to bring every society in the mainstream of development. The government is committed to ensuring that all sections of society can move forward in the field by providing basic facilities like education, health and security.
He further said that, The government has always stood by the people, and during COVID-19 pandemic, even the developed countries of the world had left people of their country stranded . During that period under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, 130 crore people in the country were provided free vaccine and free foodgrains, which has continued till date.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Shri Pradeepbhai Parmar congratulated 19 newlyweds and said that, the state government has made various schemes for the welfare of all classes including Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Nomadic Liberated Castes. As long as its benefits are easily delivered. He gave detailed information about the benefits of schemes including Maa Amrutam Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Former MP Shri ShambhuPrasad Tundia and prominent Shri Gautambhai Gadiya delivered occasional speeches. Renowned artist Shri Kirtidan Gadhvi sang the lines of the song “Ladli” and congratulated the brides on this occasion.
